Fall is here and that means that it is time to bring out all of your cozy sweaters, cute boots and scarves. It is also the perfect time to try out a new hairstyle. I have never been particularly gifted at doing my hair, mostly because I usually keep my hair short, but after watching Hanna crank these three looks out, I think that even I could replicate them. Each style is super simple and took Hanna less than 5 minutes to do, and I absolutely LOVE how elegant they look.
STYLE ONE: CRISS-CROSS PONY
The first style that we tried was a criss-cross pony. Hanna started by portioning her hair into two sections. She put the bottom section into a low ponytail and then took pieces of hair from the top section and cross them over each other like you would do with a fishtail/herringbone braid. Once she had criss-crossed all of the pieces in the top section, she pinned them underneath the ponytail.
STYLE TWO: BRAIDED BUN
The second style was a low braided bun. First, Hanna put her hair into a normal three stranded braid starting at the nape of her neck. She then gently loosened portions of the braid to add a little volume before coiling it into a bun. To finish the look, pinned down all of the little pieces of hair that were sticking out.
STYLE THREE: MILKMAID BRIAD
The third style is the easiest to create and my favorite look that we tried. Hanna started by parting her hair down the middle and then pulled each section into a three stranded braid on the side of her head. Next, she pulled one braid up over the top her head and pinned it down. She did the exact same thing with the other braid and made sure to lay it down on top of the first before pinning it down. To complete the style, she tucked in all of the loose hairs on top and then pinned down the hair by ears to preventing from sticking out and giving her the Princess Leia look.
