Even though we are already a couple days into 2017, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the last year and share my favorite images of 2016 with you. Although, I officially opened my business in the fall of 2014, I would consider 2016 to be the year that my business has experienced the most growth. It has been fun, but stretching experience to watch my business evolve into what it is today. Even though, I still have so many dreams and goals that I have yet to accomplish, I can confidently say that 2016 was a great year.
One of my biggest highlights of 2016 was attending the Creative at Heart Conference in Denver. I learned a TON over those two days and left with more vision for Little Birds than I have ever had. That weekend was where I decided to specialize in photographing high school seniors and college graduates. I walked away from the conference encouraged, excited and empowered, and I haven’t looked back.
I am also so thankful for all of the new friendships that I made with other creative entrepreneurs, especially with Megan Lee Photography and Kelsey Thrush of the Balancing Peach blog. I never realized how important community is and I have loved getting to know other women in my area who have the same heart as me.
Most of all, I cannot say thank you enough to all of the AMAZING clients that I had the privilege of working with. Since I had so many incredible sessions this year, it was definitely difficult to narrow down my favorite images to a single gallery. Thank you for a great year! It is so much fun to look back on it.
