I always get excited when June rolls around because that means it is the beginning of the summer wedding season! I love how the trees, lush green grass and beautiful flowers bring Laramie to life. Josh & Julia’s vibrant wedding was the perfect way to kick off the season.
The first time I met Josh and Julia was two days before their wedding. We decided to meet at the Night Heron, a favorite coffee shop in town. We sipped on coffee and tea as we chatted about the details of the big day, and within the first few minutes of our conversation I knew their was was going to be amazing.
Unlike most weddings that I photograph, there would be no wedding party or getting ready photos. Julia wore a simple yet beautiful white dress, while Josh went barefoot most of the day. Their two sweet pups, Kip and B wandered underfoot while while we took photos, and two of their closest friends officiated the ceremony while friends and family looked on. Once the ceremony was over, guests made their way to the Alice Steven Hardie Center where they greeted by lawn games and one of the most beautiful receptions that I have ever seen (I am a sucker for succulents and lace)! The reception was full of laughter, drinking and dancing. It was the perfect way to end such an incredible wedding.
